Here are some basic tips and tricks to increase your click through rates for your targeted users.


Tip # 1: Use your keyword in the title of your ad.

Utilizing the title in your keyword may catch the eye if people are looking for a quick click. Experience shows that the more relevant the title, the higher the CTR.


Tip #2: Create Geo-Targeted Ads

Here is an example of how you can make your ads more relevant. With Google’s geo-targeting capability,  you can limit your ads to specific regions. In doing so, you can create highly specific ads for particular Cities, States, or even Countries.


Tip #3:Use Upper Case Letters for Every Word in the Title (As Shown Above)

Utilizing a capital letter for each word of the title increases conversion rates. However, don’t go overboard with caps throughout your ad or it likely will not get approved by Google.


Tip #4: Use HOT Keywords like “Guaranteed, Free Consultation, Satisfaction, Lowest Prices”

Remember that your ad is going to get only a small amount of time to stand out to your prospects. You want to include keywords that make you stand out from the competition and increase the likelihood that a quality, targeted prospect will click on your ad.


Tip #5:Create 2-3 Ads for each set of keywords

Run all of the ads and Google will automatically run the best ones more often. This is a great feature and it doesn’t cost extra. Simply create additional variations of your ad and the best ones will show up more often until one clear winner stands out.
